The Coconut Traveler designs exclusive experiences from flyfishing, hunting to swimming with sharks, and surfing with professionals. These experiences bring together local experts, biologists, and conservationists and offer positive impact in the islands.
Join us chasing the largest bonefish in the world, aboard a restored historic yacht, learning to sail the island's only historic Tall Ship, or reaching your ultimate adventure goals.
If you’re creating your own itinerary in the islands, we have vetted a number of providers to make it easy for you. These providers have been managing experiences for visitors to the islands for many years; and they’ve got your back. Many of them are doing good in the islands and making positive impact, just look for the dragonfly. Enjoy!
Land or Sea
The Coconut Traveler has access to local experts and personalities. Aligning activity with lifestyle, we will set you up with a guide to take you through challenging adventures, coordinate your equipment so you can go it alone, or some variation thereof. If you want to learn how to surf like a pro or with a pro, take on an OC-1 with one of the world's best paddlers, or jump in a canoe with an experienced crew, we've got people.
We have experience with those who want to be active all day and those who enjoy quietly exploring native gardens.
Yachts, planes, helis
Whether inter‐island private air service, a yacht with Captain and crew, dinner aboard a historic yacht with 30 of your friends, or helicopter service for private sightseeing and waterfall landings, we’ve got transportation covered through our network. If your idea of transportation means parachuting out of a plane, we can confirm that, too.
Kids and Families
Traveling with children can be challenging; however, The Coconut Traveler knows the safest trails and softest spots to learn how to surf. We know where to go with kids because we raised our kids here. Our guides have expert sandcastle building skills and our private chefs can please even the most finicky palates. We have learning opportunities if your visit requires homeschooling. Bring the kids, they'll have a wonderful time, and so will you.
