SOLO TRAVELERS, E KOMO MAI

Join us in the islands for adventure as a solo traveler. We have wonderful guides on all islands who are prepared to take you hiking along the most beautiful island hikes. Combine the trip with a kayak or Stand Up Paddleboard. Paddling to the outlying islands, climbing up to their tops, and taking in all the beauty. During winter, you'll see breeching whales and calves as they bring their families in from the cold. The Coconut Traveler invites solo travelers to come out and spend time with us. We'll show you a few of our treasured getaways; just keep 'em between us.

PHILANTOURISM AND GIVING BACK

Join the Oahu community on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of most months during the year at the beautiful He'eia Fishpond, in the image above. The day begins at 8:30am and ends at 12pm with lunch provided by their staff. Tasks available on community workdays are appropriate for ages 12 and up. Moving rock and coral, filling buckets, hauling floating barges through the water, cutting/pulling out invasive mangrove, invasive limu removal, trash pickup, and reconstruction of the kuapā.

The Coconut Traveler support island partners who are at the top of sustainability and conservation providing unique opportunities which you can support whether it's through your time, finances, labor, or contributing expertise.
