We'll Create Magic with Exclusive Experiences for You

Oahu, the Gathering Place, offers a plethora of experiences aligned toward your lifestyle. Let us bring together the professionals and passionate enthusiasts who can bring out the best in your bespoke experience...we are here to find what brings you joy!

Land or Sea, Go Outside and Play .....

The Coconut Traveler has access to local experts and personalities to do whatever floats your boat. Let us take you through challenging bike, hike and off road adventures, or if you want to learn how to surf like a pro or with a pro, take on an OC-1 with one of the world's best paddlers or jump in a canoe with an experienced crew, we've got your covered. Perhaps Forest Bathing or replanting native trees is more your style, we will make it happen.

Go Take a Hike. Oahu has phenomenal hiking from a paved path leading to Lighthouse for exquisite whale watching in season to World War II bunkers to all day challenging hikes to the top of the Ko’olau Mountain range and everything in between. Our expert hiking guides know where the secret waterfalls and swimming ponds are hidden along the way.

Get your Paddle on. For a full day on the water, we’ll start at the beach for a Stand-Up Paddle Board or Kayak adventure. A favorite of your personal Lifeguard certified guide is a day trip to Chinaman’s Hat island. After a short introduction, you’ll set off into the beautiful Pacific Ocean towards the island where you can land your craft and admire vistas of Oahu’s scenic Ko’olau Mountain range. Our guide will be with you every moment of this exceptional day. Lunch, snacks, water, and transportation are included as you live the Aloha life.

Talk about Culture....

Whether exploring ancient ruins or strolling through galleries, we've carefully and respectfully curated experiences around some of Hawaii’s extraordinary culture sites on Oahu.

Explore Pu’u Mahuka, Maunawila and Ulupo Heiau

Let us plan a curated visit to three ancient architectural sites steeped in Hawaiian culture. Called heiau, these historic temples were once used by native islanders to pray, and for ceremonial and religious activities. Heiaus were abandoned or destroyed in the 1800s when Christianity came to the Pacific islands. Today, the ruins of the surviving temples are preserved in these historic sites. Tour these peaceful places with your exclusive guide and steward from Hawaiian Islands Land Trust. Donation to Hawaiian Islands Land Trust included.

Stroll with a Docent through the Bernice Pauahi Bishop Museum

Investigate the Bishop Museum, the largest museum in the state and the premier natural and cultural history institution in the Pacific. Recognized throughout the world for its cultural collections, research projects, consulting services and public educational programs. This extraordinary museum immerses visitors in the authentic interests of Native Hawaiians.

Giving Back is Cool

The Coconut Traveler aspires to create experiences that create positive exchange between kama’aina, locals, and malihini, visitors, and develop endearing long-lasting relationships.

We encourage all guests to participate in opportunities that give back to Oahu’s community. If your family has interest in clearing a trail, cleaning up a beach, counting whales, planting native tree saplings, clearing an ancient fishpond, we will find an opportunity to give back to Oahu.
